Mardi Gras Theme Party

The best party on the planet. Using the three traditional colors, lots of glitz, party favors and carnival throws. Every table is dressed like a giant parade float.

Just add music, some noisemakers and a beat and watch the party go wild.

Mardi Gras 2000

Guest arrive at a New Orleans street market to find it ready for the carnival parade. Bunting and banners overhead, the shops and stalls done out in the three classic colors – GOLD, PURPLE, and GREEN – giving away southern food and drink whilst a Jazz band plays.

Excitement builds as the Mardi Gras parade approaches. Tall, costumed players, musicians and carnival floats come through noisily and distributing carnival throws and noise makers inviting the guests to join the parade. They lead into dinner where every table is a multi-colored float with table centerpieces up to 10’ high. Throws spill out over the table and onto the chairs.

The customed parade characters mingle around the tables during dinner.

A steel band or outrageous Jazz band get the dinners onto their feet for dancing ‘till you drop.

Prohibition Theme Party

America in the 1920s was the Prohibition era. No liquor was allowed to be sold, but people managed to evade the law and Illegal Drinking and Gambling Dens thrived.

Our re-creation of this era starts in an Alleyway lit with only one bulb. Halfway down the alley is a door. Those with the password can gain entrance.

Once you have gained entrance inside, the interior is Magnificent. Your can have a Meal, play the Cards or the Dice, have a Drink, watch the Show or listen to the Band.

As with most things Illegal the Dens were controlled by Gangsters and Police Raids were a regular feature.

During the evening the Police will call and some of the clients will be subject to some ‘Questioning’. This is usually an Important Person in the Company with a Sense of Humour.

Arabian Nights Theme Party

What does it conjure up in your mind?

For some it will be belly dancers, magic carpets, Aladdin, Harems, crowded markets, tiresome vendors, camels, Egypt, the Pyramids. More esoterically it could be Sir Richard Burton and his book 1,001 Arabian Nights.

Or perhaps, Crosby and Hope in the ‘Road to Morocco’, turned up pointed slippers, talking camels, bazaars, Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves, scimitars, sand, desert, oasis, Bedouins and tents, Indiana Jones, The Mummy.

Whatever your ideas we will have some of these to take you back to the Souks of Morocco and the tents in the oasis.

The oasis is welcoming with a wonderful waterful and palm trees offering shade from the sand dunes.

The Sheik’s turbaned servants offer you a drink as you shelter from the searing desert heat. Camels are nosily restless and are tethered some distance away. A snake charmer is playing in the background.

A mini medina has been set up with stalls selling all sorts of pots and trinkets.

You move down the street and through the beaded entrance and into the Bedouin tent. The aroma of incense fills the air. Flame lights flicker in the corner of the tent creating a delicate and restful atmosphere.

Before the sumptuous banquet why not try the the Wheel of Fortune and let Ali Baba bring you good luck, or try the Blackjack and Roulettte table. It’s all for fun and done in the best possible taste.

James Bond 007 Party

Nobody does it better!. The invitations have been set out. You are summoned to a briefing at MI5′s temporary headquarters (at the venue of your choice).

You enter the venue and show your invitation to Miss Moneypenny. As you enter through the checkpoint into the reception area two Geisha Girls from ‘You only Live Twice’ guide you to the cocktail waiter to serve you a Martini (shakes not stirred of course!). Whilst in the reception area mingle with Odd Job, Jaws, M, Pussy Galore, James Bond himself, and maybe some of the Bond Girls. Have your photograph taken with the character of your choice.

Then it’s onto the sumptuously decorated dining area. The stage area has the famous Bond silhouette and flame backdrop. Over life size replicas of Bond and Odd Job dominate the front of the stage.
