It’s the 1920′s and you are on your way to a secret party in a warehouse styled speakeasy somewhere outside Detroit. As you pull up to the entrance you can’t help but notice the cool yet dangerous looking heavies on the door. If you didn’t know better you could swear you saw Al Capone walking by.
Inside the speakeasy the world of cigarette girls, dapper looking gents and bootlegged hooch fill the warehouse with atmosphere. Despite the prohibition of alcohol you can sense that everyone is here to have a good time.
A short time after and you are invited to wind your way through the crates, old tyres and barrels of beer to your dinner table, which has been richly decorated, for a sumptuous meal.
After dinner the mood is relaxed, decadent and refined. Suddenly the calmness is shattered as uniformed officers burst in through every entrance of the warehouse. Oh my god, it’s a raid!
Just stay calm. That’s all you can do. One wrong move and they will be onto you.
Suddenly a gun fight breaks out as the owners of the speakeasy fight back the raiding party. After a maelstrom of action everything calms down. The party is back on. After that setback the boat is well and truly pushed out as a chorus of flapper dancers together with a live jazz band entertain you before the general dancing gets underway.
With the booze flowing and the atmosphere jumping it’s time to see in the small hours – until the next party that is.
